Saturday was a glorious day down at West Country Games and good, old-fashioned, dirty fun was had by all. The hens cackled with laughter as they bounced, hurled and wrestled their way around our 10 adventurous games. Bristol has everything a girl could need for a great hen party. There’s lots going on around the old waterfront and there are festivals coming up throughout the summer. In the next few weeks, there is Mayfest: an extravaganza of contemporary theatre, Veg festival: yes really, an entire festival devoted to delicious vegetarian food and for the culinary bravehearts amongst you, there’s the Somerset chilli festival too.
